Utility Justice 101 with the 350 Network Council and Third Act

Eversource is again trying to raise our bills by an average $260 in another increase to the distribution part of our bills. At the same time, Eversource reported over $800 million in profits in 2024! If this corporation is making so much in profit then they should not need to increase our bills in order to pay for their maintenance. Especially when one third of Americans are struggling to pay their electric bills.

Join us for a presentation and discussion about Utility Justice on May 28th at 8:00pm (EST) over zoom!

This presentation will cover what utility justice means, what problems our utility system has currently, why electric bills are getting so expensive, and how we can fight back against utility companies’ political power! Come hear more about this issue from 350 network affiliates, Third Act, and Bill McKibben as we talk about how we move forward together.

Wednesday, May 28th

8pm-9pm: Presentation and Discussion about Utility Justice

9pm-9:30pm: Breakouts by geography, where NH residents will get a chance to talk to each other about the webinar and talk about next steps for local organizing.

RSVP HERE!

See you there.
