Work that Reconnects Workshop with Peace Action

In these challenging times we invite you into an afternoon of rejuvenation with The Work That Reconnects. This is a set of practices developed by Joanna Macy to support and reenergize folks who are working to create change in the world. There are four stages, beginning in gratitude, the moving through honoring our pain, seeing with new eyes, and going forth. The practices help make space for grief, anger and uncertainty while also cultivating possibility and joy.
We are gathering on the beautiful Saltonstall Farm in Stratham - a fully accessible space. We will be outside and inside the spacious airy barn.
Kendra Ford currently working for 350NH engaging lots of people across the state in creative work against climate change. Before that she was a Unitarian Universalist minister for more than 20 years and had the chance to be trained in The Work That Reconnects while Joanna Macy was still offering workshops. She will be forever grateful for having Joanna's kind voice in her head saying, "we don't know how this is going to turn out!"
Amy Antonucci has been involved in activism, agriculture, and the arts in Seacoast NH for over 30 years. After receiving her B.A. in Women’s Studies at UNH Durham, she has worked on issues of ecological health, sustainable agriculture, human rights and peace. She is chair of the board of NH Peace Action Education Fund. Amy is co-owner of Living Land Permaculture Homestead in Barrington, NH. She helps organize the Seacoast Permaculture Group and the True Tales Live storytelling program in Portsmouth NH, and teaches Sacred Circle Dance and Frame Drumming.

We're so glad you join us. If you are able to support the organizations that make our work possible we'd grateful. This form allows you make a sliding scale donation $1-$50.
